Dr. Trittschuh was the laser doctor for the first diabetic retinopathy laser study by the NIH in Philadelphia in 1993. He has continuously treated diabetic retinopathy patients since that time.
Children's Eyecare We see almost all the preemie babies born in S.W. Michigan and followed at Bronson Hospital. Laser to retinopathy of prematurity is performed by Dr. Trittschuh in the incubators in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. These children and others with tear duct blockage, crossed eyes, infections, sickle cell disease, diabetes and unexplained problems are routinely seen in our practice.
